About Ting
Ting is a home safety technology service provided by Whisker Labs that protects residences against electrical fire hazards. The system centers on a DIY plug-in smart sensor that connects to a standard outlet and monitors the home's entire electrical network to detect micro-arcing, loose connections, utility power anomalies, and faulty appliances before a fire starts. Managed via the Ting Sensor mobile app, the service includes smart monitoring, real-time hazard alerts, and direct support from a fire safety team. Direct purchases through tingfire.com feature free standard shipping within two to three business days and are backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee alongside a lifetime sensor replacement warranty. Additionally, active subscribers receive access to hazard mitigation assistance, which can include labor credits toward licensed electrician repairs for detected electrical risks. While direct sales include annual subscription options, many homeowners qualify to receive the sensor and monitoring service at no additional cost through participating home insurance providers.
